The Foundation needs young professionals, preferably with:
We also seek interns with strong organizational skills, in addition to applicants who are proficient with digital mass mailing, membership development and grant application.
This is truly an exceptional opportunity to intern with the internationally renowned Orensanz Foundation. The Angel Orensanz Foundation, Inc. was born in the early 1980’s within the New School for Social Research in New York. Its basic tenets have remained the same up to this day: Involvement in urban renewal, social activism, self sufficiency, promotion of all the arts, and intense use of new technologies and cutting edge communications systems.
We presently run a major events space in our building, a small museum, an arts gallery, and a quarterly art and culture magazine. We also run an intensive program of exhibitions featuring the work of Angel Orensanz for major museums and galleries all over the world and a historical and architectural archive.
Students can work hard and develop their skills in a fun and relaxed environment while immersing themselves in the heart of the vibrant life and culture of New York’s Lower East Side, as the beating heart of the city throbs all around our block. We provide a friendly and stimulating atmosphere, a monthly stipend and a reasonable schedule for our interns. References will be provided upon request.
